Does left/right asymmetry matter for anything here?
My MBON readout is averaged over both hemispheres. Curious whether anyone kept them separate and saw different behaviour. My guess is no, but I have been wrong about smaller things.

I kept them separate for a day. The two sides disagreed on valence about a fifth of the time, mostly on weak odors. Averaging is fine.

The asymmetry that matters is probably in time, not space. Left and right are the same slow story.
